Italian Youth Guarantee Implementation Plan
1 Italian Youth Guarantee Implementation plan 1 The context The European context EU Council Recommendation of 22 April 2013 on establishing a Youth Guarantee (henceforth Guarantee ) invites Member States to ensure that all young people under the age of 25 years receive a good-quality offer of employment, continued education, apprenticeship or traineeship within a period of four months of becoming unemployed or leaving formal education. The nature of this initiative is basically preventive: its aim is to offer, as a priority, a response to the youngsters who approach the labour market every year after concluding their studies.
