Page 1 of 4. Sermon 16/03/2014 am Jesus Predicts His Death and Resurrection Study Text: luke 18:31-34. Here we are in the third month of the New Year. Not long ago we were celebrating the New Year. We were thinking about what we would do this year. We were planning a holiday, looking forward to a new baby, a new job, or a new car. We were not planning to die. We may contemplate our own Death but not in the detail that Jesus speaks of and certainly not when we are only 30 years old. It is interesting that even men in their nineties do not plan on dying any time soon. But Jesus often spoke about his coming Death .
