Job Description Job Title: Visitation Coach Reports To: Visitation Coordinator Supervisor Job Status: Part-time (20 hours a week), with potential to build up to FT with skills clients and more visits Job Location: Community Summary: The Coach is responsible for supervising visits and providing a safe, secure environment, physically and emotionally, for children in alternate care by supervising visits with their parent(s). This position requires evening and weekend availability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. x Facilitate and supervise interactions between children and parents within the Ramsey and Hennepin County community x May provide parenting coaching during the visit x Remain within sight and hearing of clients always during supervised visits. x Redirect and coach parents when needed on child engagement, discipline, nutrition, hygiene, and basic care. x Transport children to and from visits safely in accordance with traffic laws and safety policies.
x Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
