Companies with exemplarypersonal injury incident rates have in the past sufferedcatastrophic failure in the containment of major hazards, withdevastating consequences for the plant, employees, theenvironment and company work on developing Process Safety performanceindicators by the Health and Safety Executive and the UKChemical Industries Association has changed the way thatinformation on major hazard risks can be collected andutilised.
