Definition: Identity Crisis - A psychosocial state of disorientation and role confusion occurring especially in adolescents because of conflicting pressures and expectations. A state of disorientation and role confusion occurring in a social structure, as in an institution.. (Webster's 2nd New Riverside University Dictionary). 2. Sometimes People become confused about who they are. 3. It can happen to Christian People . 4. It can happen to congregations. 5. The Bible clearly defines and describes a Christian's identity. B. Peter 2:9-10 - But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special People , that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
