This is presented in three (3) parts. PART ONE covers Books 1 to 4 of the LABOR Code and some important social legislations. PART TWO covers Book 5 and PART THREE covers Books 6 and 7 of the LABOR Code. LABOR laws OF THE PHILIPPINES PART ONE LAW ON LABOR STANDARDS 1. What is the protection-to- LABOR clause in the Constitution? The State shall afford full protection to LABOR , local and overseas, organized and unorganized, and promote full employment and equality of employment opportunities for all. It shall guarantee the rights of all workers to self-organization, collective bargaining and negotiations, and peaceful concerted activities, including the right to strike in accordance with law.
