La presente Ley es de orden p blico y de inter s social y tiene por objeto regular a la instituci n del NOTARIADO y la funci n de los notarios en el ESTADO de DURANGO . La fe p blica compete originalmente al ESTADO de DURANGO y su ejercicio corresponde al Ejecutivo qui n por delegaci n la encomienda a profesionales del derecho, a quienes satisfaciendo los requisitos legales previos les otorga la Patente o Fiat notarial correspondiente. Art culo 2. Para los efectos de esta Ley, se entender por: I. Ejecutivo: al Gobernador del ESTADO ; II. Secretar a: a la Secretar a General de Gobierno; III.
