LEY GENERAL DE HIGIENE Y SEGURIDAD OCUPACIONAL Y BIENESTAR Ley (Decreto Ley) (2-Agosto-1979) (Vigente) Ley GENERAL de HIGIENE y SEGURIDAD Ocupacional y Bienestar, aprobada por DL 16998 de 02/08/1979 LEY GENERAL DE HIGIENE Y SEGURIDAD OCUPACIONAL Y BIENESTAR LIBRO PRIMERO DE LA GESTI N EN MATERIA DE HIGIENE , SEGURIDAD OCUPACIONAL Y BIENESTAR TITULO I DE LAS NORMAS GENERALES CAPITULO I OBJETO Y CAMPO DE APLICACION Art culo 1 .- (OBJETO). La presente Ley tiene por objeto: 1. Garantizar las condiciones adecuadas de salud HIGIENE , SEGURIDAD y bienestar en el trabajo; 2. Lograr un ambiente de trabajo desprovisto de riesgo para la salud psicof sica de los trabajadores; 3. Proteger a las personas y el medio ambiente en GENERAL , contra los riesgos que directa o indirectamente afectan a la salud, la SEGURIDAD y el equilibrio ecol gico. Art culo 2 .- (ACCION DEL ESTADO, EMPLEADOR y TRABAJADOR). Los objetivos se alados se alcanzar n a trav s de la acci n conjunta del Estado, los empleadores y trabajadores.
Autoridad Competente.-Es toda autoridad pública revestida de poderes para dictar reglamentos, órdenes, decretos, otras instrucciones que tengan fuerza de ley con respecto a la seguridad en los
