Licensing Requirements for Child care ProgramsEffective Date 11/01/2016 FOREWORDL icensing Requirements govern Child care facilities in the State of Oklahoma. These rules are minimum Requirements for the care and protection of children in care outside their own homes. They were developed by individuals from various professions with expertise in Child care , including private providers; the Child care Advisory Committee; and from input solicited from other providers and the public. The Requirements were approved by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) Director and the Governor of the State of Oklahoma pursuant to the Oklahoma Administrative Procedures Act.
"Child" means an individual younger than 18 years of age. "Child care centers" means programs that operate 30 or more hours per week. "Child passenger restraint system"
