Acts 13:22 Introduction: 1. If David was truly a man after God s own heart, then we should want to learn all we can about David s heart. 2. There are more events and personal thoughts of David recorded than all other men, so God blessed our goal. 3. The Old Testament was written for our learning (Rom 15:4), and there is more about David than anyone else. 4. If we include David s psalms, which we clearly should, the subject is one of the largest in all of Scripture.
