Linear Algebra - IIT Bombay
Linear algebra, an extension of elementary algebra, gives us a way of looking at the solution of any number of linear equations, with any number of variables without suffering from this visual overload. In effect, equations are once again converted to the simple form we just saw, that is, Ax = b, although A and b are no longer just numbers.

Introduction to Applied Linear Algebra
web.stanford.eduThe book covers less mathematics than a typical text on applied linear algebra. We use only one theoretical concept from linear algebra, linear independence, and only one computational tool, the QR factorization; our approach to most applica-tions relies on only one method, least squares (or some extension). In this sense
