COVID-19. Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Guidance for informal social Gatherings: Appendix CC. Effective as of Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Recent Updates (Highlighted in yellow): 5/11/2021: Updated the Fully Vaccinated People section and added additional clarifying language. While COVID-19 case rates, hospitalizations, and deaths have decreased and appear to be stable, COVID- 19 continues to pose a high risk to communities and requires all people in California to follow necessary precautions until enough people in the County and state become fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Until then, the safest way to gather continues to be limiting mixing among different households and, if gathering occurs, spending time outdoors to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 from one person to another.
