Magnets Attraction and Repulsion What you will need :- Magnets (x2), compass, thread What you will do :- Tie the thread around the middle of one of the Magnets . Hold it up by the thread. Use the compass to see which is the north end of the magnet . (The north end of the magnet will point in the same direction as the north (red) pointer in the compass). Repeat for the other magnet . Use the Magnets to answer these questions. Question 1 Complete using the words repel or attract. These Magnets .. each other These Magnets .. each other These Magnets .. each other Q2. Which poles of two Magnets attract each other? Q3. Which poles of two Magnets repel each other? Q4. What happens when two like poles (the same ) are placed together?
