Radiological imaging techniques alone haveproven to be suboptimal to fully characterize cystic pancreatic lesions. Endoscopic ultrasound,with the addition of fine-needle aspiration in difficult cases, has showed greater diagnosticaccuracy than conventional imaging techniques.
