Medicaid Covered Long- term Care S ervices Medicaid covers Long-term care (LTC) Services in nursing facilities and in the c ommunity for qualified pe ople who cannot afford the cost of the care. The c ountable income limit for pe ople needing LTC Services is 300% of t he Supplemental Security I ncome (SSI) a mount for a n individual, or $2,199 per month for 2015.
