1 Message to EmployeesSequel to the conduct of the 6th verification in accordance with the provisions laid down in BSNL s rules 2012, recognitions were conferred on two majority unions viz NFTE and BSNLEU, vide letter , date - 25th April, 2013 for a period of three years. The rules of year 2012-13 prescribe rec-ognition of not more than two unions for non-executive staff. The recognition period of the unions is now ending on 24th April, 2016 and the preliminary process for verification has begun to identify two majority unions as per BSNL s rules of recognition of non-executive unions and representations in the council, ensuing referendum is of great importance for the PSU and work force both as the recognized unions have to play a piv-otal and vital role to protect the future of the PSU and the employ-ees.
