In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 110 of the juvenile justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 (2 of 2016), the Central Government hereby makes the following model rules, namely:- CHAPTER I. PRELIMINARY. 1. Short title and (1) These rules may be called the juvenile justice (Care and Protection of Children) Model Rules, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2.
