This Guide contains examples of Permit conditions and supporting rationale that could be used in fact sheets that accompany NPDES permits. The Guide also includes ~ommendations for pennit writers on how to tailor the language depending on the type of permiL For example, permilS covering traditional municipalities may contain different Permit than those covering non-tradittonal entities like departments oftransponation.
