Naturalistic Intervention: Steps for Implementation
1. Practitioners, parents, and other team members select a specific target behavior/skill to be the focus of the intervention that: a. focuses on prelinguistic or linguistic communication and/or b. social skills. With naturalistic intervention, it is important to identify specific skills that will be targeted (i.e., target behaviors).
