This pamphlet provides a guide for US army National Guard Officer Candidate School students and cadre. Proponent and exception authority. The proponent of this pamphlet is the Commanding General, US. army Infantry School. The CG, USAIS has the authority to approve exceptions to this pamphlet that are consistent with controlling laws and regulations. The CG, USAIS may delegate this authority, in writing, to a division chief within the proponent agency in the grade of Colonel or the civilian equivalent. Intent. The intent of this pamphlet is to ensure that National Guard OCS Candidates nationwide share one common standard. It facilitates the cross-state and cross-TASS region boundary training of US army Officer Candidates.
