You do not contest your ticket; and C. You were cited for a moving civil violation not involving serious injury or death; and D. An asterisk (*) is listed next to the violation on page 5; and E. You do not have a commercial driver s license. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTENDING DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS (DDC) 1. If you choose to attend this course, you must: 2. Complete the course at least seven (7) days prior to your court date. Your court date is located at the bottom right of your ticket. If you default (fail to attend DDC before the court date) you are no longer eligible for defensive driving class.
