87 ORDINANCE 4: CONTRIBUTORY PROVIDENT fund CUM-GRATUITYSCHEMESECTION ICONTRIBUTORY PROVIDENT (i)Every whole time non-pensionable employee of the University who opts forthe CONTRIBUTORY PROVIDENT fund shall be entitled tosubscribe to theUniversity CONTRIBUTORY PROVIDENT fund after continuous service of one yearwith effect from the date of appointment.(ii)Person who have retired from Government or a University or any of itscolleges, if re-employed in the University may be permitted to subscribe to theContributory PROVIDENT fund , provided that where the term of re-employmentis initially for a year or less but is later extended so as to exceed one year, thecontribution with interest will be credited only after the completion of oneyear s re-employed service. The contribution with interest shall be payable forthe entire period for which the re-employed pensioner is allowed to contributeto the CONTRIBUTORY PROVIDENT fund if such period exceeds one (i)Everyemployee entitled to subscribe to the CONTRIBUTORY PROVIDENT fund shallbe required to subscribe to the fund .
88 (i ) “Fund” means the Contributory Provident Fund of the University; (i i) “Leave” means any kind of leave recognised by the Leave Rules, whichever
