OSCE Objective Structured Clinical Examination The OSCE is designed to assess a range of knowledge and skills, drawn from the GOC s Stage 2 competencies. In the Examination you will be tested several times on the following skills: History taking, including diagnosis. Communication. Data interpretation. Clinical Examination and practical skills. 4. Patient conditions will be drawn from the patient episodes and have been categorised by body system: Neurological/Developmental Neurological/Acquired Refractive Pathological Anterior Segment Pathological Posterior Segment Psychological The OSCEs administered by the College of Optometrists will consist of 16 Clinical tasks known as stations.
