(parent(s)) (student) WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THE STUDENT: Academic Commitment o Work hard and accept responsibility for own learning. o Develop a reasonable plan to graduate with a bachelor s degree by the end of four academic years. o Earn a bachelor s degree by the end of four academic years. o Maintain at least a grade point average and/or demonstrate evidence that you are presenting work to the best of your ability. o Provide detailed information about academic progress after 4, 8 and 12 weeks of classes. o Allow sharing of grades with parent(s) through web advisor. o Retain an accurate schedule of commitments ( classes, work, study, meals, exercise, etc). o Make good use of private study time. o Use multiple methods of studying to learn the material. o Ask for help as needed. o Visit professors at least once every two weeks during office hours with at least one question even if you think you understand the material.
