Upon completion of this PROGRAM you will be able to: Demonstrate knowledge of the health care delivery system Define medical terminology associated with laboratory testing Describe the policies and procedures in maintaining laboratory safety and infection control Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and physiology of body systems Describe the legal and ethical implications of patient testing Discuss and demonstrate the proper collection of blood by evacuated tube system Discuss and demonstrate the proper collection of blood by capillary methods Describe the proper methods of requisitioning, specimen transport.
