DoD PHYSICAL SECURITY PROGRAM April 9, 2007 Incorporating Change 1, May 27, 2009 UNDER SECRETARY OF defense FOR INTELLIGENCE (USD(I)) DoD , April 9, 2007 FOREWORD This Regulation is issued under the authority of DoD Instruction , SECURITY of DoD Installations and Resources, December 10, 2005. It implements the policies and minimum standards for the PHYSICAL SECURITY of DoD installations and resources. DoD , PHYSICAL SECURITY PROGRAM , May 1991, is hereby canceled. This Regulation applies to the Office of the Secretary of defense , the Military Departments, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Combatant Commands, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of defense , the defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, and all other organizational entities in the Department of defense (hereafter referred to collectively as the DoD Components ).
