Stiffeners are suitable for use with HDPE pipe made in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C906, SDR 9 through 26, and standard mechanical joint pipe or fittings made in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C111 , or ANSI/AWWA C153 of the latest revision; or with the Romac style 501 and 400 coupling AND WEDGE ASTM 240 type 304 stainless can be used at pressures up to 150 catalog for sizes 4 -12.
