Many have made significant gifts to the Church such as James Beggs, John Shreffler, Do & Richard Parks and Janet Brown. All contributors had as its principal objective the promotion and development of religious and educational activities for Plainfield United Methodist Church . In 1995, following the Endowment Fund formed from the Janet Brown gift, the original investment Policy was prepared to guide those in administrating investments primarily through investment Managers.
