This Plan is aligned with and amplifies existing government commitments to end natural forest loss and increase the restoration of forestlands, including those related to support for the implementation of the Paris Agreement, relevant outcomes under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the New York Declaration on Forests.
