Practice Pointers: Representing the Individual Chapter 11 Debtor In 2005, the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act ( BAPCPA ) changed provisions relating to individuals in Chapter 11. There are significant differences between Chapter 13 and Chapter 11, and some similarities.
