PREFACE . LOCAL RULES - SCOPE AND AUTHORITY . The following supplemental RULES of the Van Wert County Court of Common Pleas are intended to be supplemental to, and to be used in conjunction with (1) Ohio RULES of Civil Procedure, (2) Ohio RULES of Criminal Procedure and (3) RULES of Superintendence of the Supreme Court of Ohio, as adopted by the Ohio Supreme Court, and all amendments or supplements thereto as may occur. These LOCAL RULES are not to be interpreted in any way that will conflict with the various Ohio RULES . Should any conflict or contradiction be found, the Ohio RULES shall, in all cases, prevail over the supplemental LOCAL RULES . 1. RULE 1 TERM and HOURS of COURT SESSIONS AND HOLIDAYS (Revised 7/24/15). (A) The Court is in continuous session for the transaction of judicial business.
