PROBLEM STRUCTURING refers to the use of systematic procedures for STRUCTURING as well as solving problems that are ill-defined, ill-structured, or wicked. In this article, these procedures are presented as part of a suite of PROBLEM solving methods used in PUBLIC POLICY ANALYSIS . Drawn from multiple disciplines, methods of POLICY ANALYSIS are designed to assist policymakers in making better decisions.
