DESCRIPTION Title Building capacity and improving accountability for Gender equality in Development, Peace and Security. Location The initiative uses regional and national approaches. It will involve a national component with focused activities in 12 countries (four countries in Africa, two in Asia, one in the Pacific, two in Latin-Central America and one each in the Caribbean, CEE and CIS). Countries will be chosen based on the processes and criteria described in section Additionally, knowledge and documentation generated through the focused activities in 12 countries will be used to inform partners (including EC delegations, national partners and multi-lateral partners) in other countries through numerous opportunities and mechanisms ( the PROJECT website, presentations at regional and global meetings, etc.)
