Division II SCOPE AND ADMINISTRATION See Chapter 1A for the Administration provisions of the San FRANCISCO BUILDING code . Chapter 1A SAN FRANCISCO ADMINISTRATION The City and County of San FRANCISCO adopts the following Chapter 1A for the purpose of administration of the 2013 2016 San FRANCISCO BUILDING code . Certain specific administrative and general code provisions as adopted by various state agencies may be found in Chapter 1, Divisions I and II of this code . SECTION 101A TITLE, SCOPE AND GENERAL Title. These regulations shall be known as the 2013 2016 San FRANCISCO BUILDING code , may be cited as such and will be referred to herein as this code . The 2013 2016 San FRANCISCO BUILDING code amends the 2013 2016 California BUILDING code and the 2013 2016 California Residential code which is Part 2 & respectively of the 12 parts of the official compilation and publication of the adoption amendment and repeal of the BUILDING regulations to the California code of Regulations, Title 24, also referred to as the California BUILDING Standards code .
