June 2018 1 Protected Leave laws State laws Department of Labor & Industries Paid Sick Leave (RCW ; WAC 296-128) Applies to Washington workers unless they do not meet the definition of employee under the Minimum Wage Act (MWA) or an employee has no accrued, unused paid sick Leave hours available for use.
