If using a digital input: after Recording youraudio, come back to this dialog and switch the inputback to analog and the clock to internal beforeediting or bouncing choose "File>>New Session." ProTools will ask you to name thesession, and this step is fairly crucialfor good housekeeping. The simplestway to proceed is to navigate towhatever disc you plan to record yoursoundfiles on, preferably not thesame hard drive that contains thecomputer s system and a new folder for the project,and name the session somethingdescriptive (not just "session1".)
