This will give him or her a chance to get to know your health. Remember, you do not want to wait until you are sick to pick a doctor. All of your health care is provided at your doctor s office or through written referrals from your doctor. In an emergency call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room.
2 REFERRALS Your Primary Care Doctor is the doctor you will see first. If needed, he/she will send you to a specialist. They will work together for a treatment plan.
