There are a lot of doctors to pick from. You should also pick a doctor for each member of your family. Next, make an appointment with your doctor. This will give him or her a chance to get to know your health. Remember, you do not want to wait until you are sick to pick a doctor. All of your health care is provided at your doctor s office or through written referrals from your doctor. In an emergency call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room. Sometimes you may have a medical problem that is not really serious and your doctor s office is closed. For those times you can use an Urgent Care service. Check this book or call 1-800-514-4561 for a list of offices. At Better Health, we want to get to know you, so that we may give you the best care. The doctors in this do not work for Better Health.
2 REFERRALS Your Primary Care Doctor is the doctor you will see first. If needed, he/she will send you to a specialist. They will work together for a treatment plan.
