Due to thelag in death certificate reporting to MSDH, these counts are incomplete and may not represent all deaths that haveoccurred in the defined period. Recent weeks will be less accurate due to the delays in receiving death records andthe cause of death coding conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS).
