2015 KSR2015A144 R407C A Study on Improving Cooling Efficiency of environment-friendly refrigerant R407C air conditioners * , *, *, *, * Kyung Seob Kim , See Young Park*, Duk Soo Choi*, Myung Gon Bae*, Yu Son Ji* Abstract This study was applied to the existing R22 Freon gas instead of the environmental-friendly refrigerant 407C to the 21,000 /h air conditioners used in Seoulmetro Line 4. CFCs to escape from a bad influence on a greenhouse gas, and was performed for the purpose of improving efficiency of cooling cycle. It was carried out, such as wind passes through the evaporator and condenser coils testing, compatibility with existing air condition system was designed so that there is no hindrance. The supplementary problems such as noise, leaks, and the condensed water be applied to the most efficient environment-friendly air conditioning was subjected cooling capacity design.
