FAQ BULLETIN S UPDATES CONTACT US RELATED LINKSRam Trucks Idle Up Feature General Information This Feature is provided on Ram Chassis Cab models to manually increase the vehicles idle speed to improve cabin warm up/cool down, increase alternator output, provide increased speed to power and aftermarket installed belt or PTO driven device or other customer need for higher than idle speed RPM. It is standard equipment on and engines with automatic transmissions and manual transmissions with PTO Prep Option LBN. It is not available on the L Requirements vehicle must be Transmission in park.
