1 RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION POLICY Approved Date: 19 November 2013 2 THE POLICY 1. PREAMBLE The RECRUITMENT POLICY and its implementation will be fundamentally aimed at matching the human resources to the strategic and operational needs of the Breede Valley Municipality and ensuring the full utilization and continued development of these employees. All aspects of the staffing, structuring, RECRUITMENT , SELECTION , interviewing and appointment of employees will be non-discriminatory and will afford applicants equal opportunity to compete for vacant positions, except as provided in this POLICY with reference to affirmative action and employment equity.
