Such performance, like accidents, did not just happen - it was caused. Injuries or chemical releases are caused by UNSAFE ACTS or UNSAFE CONDITIONS. Our experience and analysis has taught us that certain safe methods prevent accidents. The purpose of this Booklet is to list the methods or General Rules which have been found important in our operations. These Rules cannot be expected to cover each phase of every operation. Therefore it is important that you talk to your supervisor about any questions you may have on speci c Rules or procedures for the work you will be performing.
