1 NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Notice of Public Hearing and Opportunity to Comment on Proposed Rules What are we proposing? The Department of Environmental Protection is proposing to amend its Rules Governing and Restricting the Use and Supply of Water to reflect changes in technology and practice related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of water services and service connections, and to the selection, sizing, and use of water meters. When and where is the Hearing? The Department will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule. The public hearing will take place at 10 on December 23, 2013. The hearing will be in the conference room at 59-17 Junction Boulevard, Flushing, New York, on the 6th Floor.
