Residency Program pass Rates 2014 - 2016. This report contains information about the internal medicine certifying examination performance of programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). For each Residency Program listed in the following pages, the American Board of Internal Medicine ( abim ) reports the cumulative pass rate for the 2014 to 2016. certifying examinations in internal medicine. What data are reported? For each Program , this report lists the number of candidates that took the examination and the percent that passed. Which residents are included in the calculation of a Program 's pass rate? Candidates are included in the computation of a Program pass rate if they meet four conditions. 1. They are first takers of the 2014, 2015, or 2016 certifying examinations in internal medicine (repeat takers are excluded).
