RESPONSE TO FEEDBACK RECEIVED - consultation ON. proposed AMENDMENTS TO THE SECURITIES AND FUTURES ACT. AND FINANCIAL ADVISERS ACT. 1 Introduction On 23 May 2012, MAS issued a consultation paper proposing amendments to the Securities and Futures Act (Cap. 289) [ SFA ] and the Financial Advisers Act (Cap. 110) [ FAA ]. The consultation closed on 22. June 2012. The list of respondents is at Annex 1. MAS thanks all respondents for their FEEDBACK . MAS has carefully considered the FEEDBACK and where it agreed with the comments, incorporated them into the proposed amendment Bills, which can be accessed at the following links: Securities and Futures ( amendment ) Bill 2012;.
