resurrection , ascension , and Pentecost After appearing to his disciples and many of the believers for 40 days, Christ ascended to heaven on the 40th day after resurrection . The stories, wonders, and miracles that preceded Christ's ascension are accounted for in the four Gospels. We believe that Christ miraculously ate with the disciples after resurrection . However, his entering while the doors were closed and locked was not a miracle! Because He arose from the dead in His glorified body: "There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.. so also is resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
