There are however expectations by key stakeholders, including key business partners and financiers, that risk is being managed efficiently and effectively. Publicly listed companies in Australia are required by the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listing rules to report on the extent to which the company has followed the ASX Corporate Governance Council best practice recommendations (see listing rule ).
