Steel having a specified minimum yield stress of 235 N/mm2 is regarded as normal strength hull structural steel. Steel having a specified minimum yield stress (ReH) in the range 235 < ReH ≤ 390 N/mm 2 is regarded as high strength hull structural steel. Steel having ReH > 390 N/mm 2 is regarded as extra high strength structural steel.
