S E L E C T I O N D O C U M E N T A T I O N MANAGER, PROTOCOL Executive Level 1 ROLE ASIS is Australia s overseas secret intelligence collection agency. Its mission is to protect and promote Australia s vital interests through the provision of intelligence services as directed by the Government. Its work can involve collecting intelligence relating to national security, international relations and economic issues. It also contributes to Australia s coordinated national efforts against terrorism, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and trans-national issues such as people smuggling. As the Manager of Protocol you will be responsible for the Protocol team, coordinating and facilitating engagement with foreign liaisons, providing contemporary protocol advice in step with broader Australian government practices. You represent one of the public faces of ASIS setting the standard for professional engagement.

Familiarity with the Australian Intelligence Community and/or comparable experience with national security or international relations matters.
